It amazes me how simple these issues come to some and how difficult they are for others. As much as I have tried and tried, macros are not my friend.

I am working on a mac. (excel for mac 2011)

I have a calculator type file which calculates totals 3 different columns.
I want to create a button which when I click, clears all the entries on all 3 different columns.
What do I need to do?

Scenario:

B2 = Button (when I click the button I want to clear the following)
B5,H5,N5 Individual cells to clear
D5;D23 J5;J23 P5;P23 columns I want to clear

it works! it works! it works!
this is great, thanks everyone for your help....

If anyone wants to help with side projects to please let me know.

Basically, math formulas for time cards. can get pretty complex.

I have 1 program that has multiple sheets.
1. crew list - list of employee
2. time sheet - for every day you enter the hours worked for each individual
3. actual time card - hours are sent from time sheet to time card

the problem that I have is every time I enter a new person on the time sheet, it generates a new time card. But when you have 200 or 300 employees, when you want to print or browse data on a card, it takes forever for the data to register. Is there a way to speed up the progress?

Or is something like this better for a program like filemaker pro?

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).

I suggest you start a new thread with an Appropriate Title and as complete explanation as possible with:
1. What you have
2. What you expect
3. As much reference to Sheets, columns, cells, etc.
4. Macros if any

You can even post Small samples of you sheets by downloading one of the links down in my signature block. You may what to test your screen shots HERE to see how it looks before posting on this forum.
