Need VBA Code for "permutations" and probablities

Here is what i have and have wrote these formulas all the way to the 9th horse winning. Yea 3078 combinations and don't look forward to doing the remaining combinations. I'm Hoping someone could help me by sharing some code that would calculate this for me without writing another 3762 formulas. I hope my table below explains it well enough. I enter ratings on each entrant and have formulas that give me each entrants probability. From these probabilities the formulas shown Known as the harville formula gives me the permutations(Trifecta) winning probability.

I have the formula written below but I’m not able to figure out how to compensate for the fact that the total row will move depending on the number of entries. So my formula of locking B$9 will not work. Any ideas how to correct for this? A little off topic but, Also do you know how to fix a worksheet that will close out every 10-15 minutes without warning? While trying to save or when it closes on it's own this worksheet a popup will appear stating that excel has stopped working: A problem has caused the program from working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

How is the row of total moving? i.e. is there some live update of program populating values in various cells or are you manually updating the number of rows?

Sorry about that I thought of that after I went to bed. Yes live update from Advance Deposit Wagering company. I have a macro that will refresh all as most races have different field size. I'm Wanting to post some examples of the worksheets but looks like I'm going to have to redo the whole workbook again. Is it possible the website sends something to disable the link for live updates that corrupts the file?

I think I have found the issue of Excel crashing. On the Data tab, choose Connections and delete repeated connections. Like on my workbook there were multiple GetOdds connections (GetOdds, GetOdds1, GetOdds2, ETC). I deleted all the ???1, ???2 ETC connections and so far so good. As the starting to walk from the crawl, I feel like I am still in the womb from what I've seen others do with excel.
