Hi all,

I need to name all the cells of a column ("A" column) of a sheet with the cell value. I mean, if the cell says "Mister", the name would be "Mister" as well.

I know to do it manually, but I think that a macro for this will be very helpful and not too hard to make, but I don´t know how to write it.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
I thought the Excel replaced the "&" character with an underscore automatically while doing the name (actually if you do it manually it does). So I imagine that was the error.

Anyway I manage to do it without a macro,I just had to copy the column, and then in Formulas->Create from selection

However,thanks for the help!
