Hi there,

Any way I can change an IF formula to check if multiple values are true/false with the logical criteria?

Thanks

I thought I explained it quite clearly before, I want to check if 4 numerical cells match, as these acccounts should all balance with each other.

If any of these accounts differ in any way, then the difference is what I need reported.

Each account needs to reconcile with each other, and so I need the formula to compare each individual cell with the other so it can report the discrepancy correctly, as a total.

I hope this makes it clearer?
Try explaining it using some real data and tell us what result you expect based on the real data.

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I think that part of our problem is that we do not understand what value you want returned.

If your data is 10,20,10,10:
Do you want 1 returned (the number of non-matching elements)?

Do you want 10 returned (the difference between the non-matching and the matching)?

Do you want 60 returned (the total vairance in the data set = (10-10)+(20-10)+(10-10)+(10-10) + (20-10)+(20-20)+(20-10)+(20-10) + (10-10)+(20-10)+... )

In which ever of those cases (or something else) you want, what do you want returned from
1,2,3,4
1,1,2,2
1,2,2,3
