Hi
I have built a number drop down lists - first is the category drop down followed by the sub-categories based on the first drop down list.
I am trying to build a selection list that will be populated based on the result of the first drop-down list.
Is this possible to do?
Thanks

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Hi,

One way to do it is with named ranges and indirect(). The first picklist choices are each the name of a subsequent list of choices. If you pick from the first list in A2, then the data validation for subsequent choice has a list specified as indirect(a2).
Here is a link with a much better explanation and a lot more info, from a very good site: https://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal02.html
