Hi, all

I'm Creating a job board where I need a row moved from a "Working Jobs" spreadsheet to a "completed Jobs" spreadsheet once the checkbox for said row has been checked. Can I get some assistance with this? Thanks!

I'm not sure how to do that.
So, we have to look down column A I assume and find first emtpy cell in column A
And paste the row in that row.
Someone else here will need to help you with that.

And by row at bottom, I assume you mean last row with data in column A
Because last row at bottom of sheet would be row 1.5 million

And you said:
first blank row

Which would mean Check every single cell on all rows to see if there is any value
Each row has I believe 1.5 thousand cells
Right. 1.5 thousand would be a nightmare. I'm curious if there would be a way to check cells in a row within a range of columns.

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
I think someone else here on the forum may need to help you.
When I read your original question which was this:

I'm Creating a job board where I need a row moved from a "Working Jobs" spreadsheet to a "completed Jobs" spreadsheet once the checkbox for said row has been checked. Can I get some assistance with this? Thanks!

This seemed to be a simple question which I have helped others with quite often.
Then I said let's use double click so if you double clicked on column A the script would know you're ready to run the script.
But then you said do not copy the entire row so that made it more difficult and then you said copy the row to the first empty row not after the last used row with data in column A
Most users always want the entire row copied
But in your case, you have a lot of empty rows, and you want the new row copied to the first empty row.
So, I think I need someone else here on the forum to help you

So, I figured out how to find 1st empty row.

So, since this has changed so many times let me see if this is true.
You want to double click on column C of your sheet and copy that row to the first empty row on sheet named "CONFSENT" is this true?
If not, please explain more
Sheet names are very important
And on the original sheet do you want the row deleted you double clicked on?

--This is exactly what I want.

Only the values so ".ClearContents"

If you get an answer that works before then just let me know here.

So, you said first empty row on sheet CONFSENT

So, if the first cell on the row is empty does that always mean the row is empty

Or Might Range("A5") be empty, but Range ("G5") have data making the row not empty
You understand:
"A5" Means Column A row 5
"G5" means Column G Row 5

Correct. First empty row with no data.

Correct. First empty row with no data.
See I asked if A1 for example is empty.

To determine if a cell in column A is empty is simple.
But to determine if the entire row is empty is something I still have not been able to achieve.
So, you're saying sometimes you might have a value in column G but nothing in column A

Checking a single column should be fine. If one column is empty, the whole row will be empty.
