Dear Smartest Excelers Around,

I recently installed Windows 7 (64 bit) and Excel 2010 (64 bit) and I can't seem to get the MoreFunc add-in to work.

I went to this site to download the add-in:

http://www.download.com/Morefunc/3000-2077_4-10423159.html

Then I directed the Add-in dialog box to look at the file named:

Morefunc12.xlam

I then checked the box and closed and opened Excel.

I can see the new item added to the Ribbon and I can insert functions such as MCONCAT but Excel does not recognize them (I see a #NAME! error).

Any ideas on how to get MoreFunc add-in to work in Excel 2010 (64 bit) and Windows 7 (64 bit)?

Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
HI,

In 2007 installed application of morfunc go to the location below and copy the Morefunc filename approximate 295 KB

C:\Program Files\Morefunc

After copy, open the excel office 2010 then go to file>options>Add-Ins>go then you will see the pop up windows Add-Ins>Browse then paste the file that you copy. then click OK>OK. Now you can check the mconcat function.

ENJOY!!!

I got morefunc working for excel 2010 on a 32 bit machine. Is there any update for getting it working on a 64 bit machine and using excel 2010 64 bit program?

I have not found a work around for this. Any suggestions?

Here's how I made it work for 64 bit

After you have installed it on your computer, open Excel, go to the developer tab on the ribbon, click on the add-ins button and browse to where it was installed (probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Morefunc). Add references to both Morefunc.xll and Morefunc12.xlam (do this one at a time). From there you should be up and running...

If you need to get the developer tab on excel, do the following. File, Options, Customize Ribbon then on the right, check the Developer tab and click OK
