You have two columns of information... which column did you want the result in and what should be done with the other column then?guys - is there a way to do this without inserting a new column for the formula - its not allowing me to insert a new column all the time as 'to prevent possible data loss, excel cannot shift non blank cells off the worksheet....
obviously i cannot remove blank cells?
That doesn't help. I have manager to insert a few columns; now it's coming up with this rid. message.. i''m not trying to shift nonblank cells OFF THE WORKSHEET! its still the same sheet, just inserting a column between the two split columns which i need to merge... :/
