Hi,
I have a sales summary table with categories in row1 and numbers of parts matching those categories in row2. For example:
I have: <TABLE style="WIDTH: 158pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=211 border=0><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 69pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 3364" width=92><COL style="WIDTH: 89pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 4352" width=119><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; FONT-WEIGHT: 700; FONT-SIZE: 11pt; BACKGROUND: #dbe5f1; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; WIDTH: 69pt; COLOR: black; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; FONT-FAMILY: Calibri; HEIGHT: 15pt; TEXT-DECORATION: none; text-underline-style: none; text-line-through: none; mso-pattern: #DBE5F1 none" width=92 height=20>Category</TD><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext 0.5pt solid; FONT-WEIGHT: 700; FONT-SIZE: 11pt; BACKGROUND: #dbe5f1; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; WIDTH: 89pt; COLOR: black; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; FONT-FAMILY: Calibri; TEXT-DECORATION: none; text-underline-style: none; text-line-through: none; mso-pattern: #DBE5F1 none" width=119>Total</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD class=xl64 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 15pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=20>1</TD><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right>3</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD class=xl64 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 15pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=20>3</TD><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right>1</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15pt" height=20><TD class=xl64 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 15pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=20>5</TD><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right>1</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15.75pt" height=21><TD class=xl64 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 15.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=21>6</TD><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right>1</TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 15.75pt" height=21><TD class=xl64 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; HEIGHT: 15.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=21>7</TD><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BORDER-TOP: windowtext; BORDER-LEFT: windowtext; BORDER-BOTTOM: windowtext 0.5pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" align=right>2</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Which summarises a list: 1,1,1,3,5,6,7,7
The trouble is that I can't see the list, only the summary. Is there a way to calculate the median from the summary? Or a way to recreate the list from the summary?
Thanks.
