Good morning,

I was hoping for some help on a lookup/index function I amtrying to get to work.
I have two spreadsheets in excel that have the name of aperson in column A, the location of the person in column b, and an amount forthe person in column C. Sometimes a person’s name will be on the list multipletimes because they are at various locations throughout the year. The amount incolumn C will be different for that person at each location.

Essentially, I would like to check the spread sheets to seeif the values in column C of each spreadsheet are the same. Preferably, I wouldlike to do a lookup/match function on one sheet so you can just compare thecolumns and look for any discrepancies. I want to lookup by name and location(2 criteria) and return the value in column C.
One of the issues is that on one sheet the names are writtenfirst to last, and on the other spreadsheet they are Last, First.
If anyone has any idea how to accomplish this I wouldgreatly appreciate the help!
