Hello,

I have varies list of equipment, I have done background calculation to determine hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly rate will apply to this equipment. I have "D" for daily, "H" for hourly, "W" for weekly, and "M" for monthly.
Based on cell value "W" or "M" I want to merge Week row for weekly rate or all weeks row for a monthly rate. Can you please provide a solution?

I have these cell values in different sheet in the same excel file.

Thank you in Advance.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
The file you sent has weeks from Friday to Saturday, not Monday thru Sunday as the images here showed, so the macro wouldn't work as given.
Your "month" also extends into the next month, so the macro merged 28 columns instead of 31 or 35 as in the sent file.
Lastly, I don't understand what you wrote about the Chargeable_Rates sheet and pop-ups (which I didn't see) and what you really want.
If you do want me to help, I need a few very specific examples of what you would do and then what you would want to happen. You need to include the sheet name and cell address, what you'd entering (if anything), and the sheet name and range address of what you want to happen and what happens. This is wayyyy more involved than your original question.

In addition, if you save the file as an xlsx, an macro would disappear -- needs to be an xlsm (or xlsb) file.
