Hi Excel masters,

I'm trying to format some slicers on a pivot table and I've encountered a conundrum!

I'm trying to make slicers in Excel a different color depending on how they're filtered after I click on the first option (in this case by state). Below is a picture of something I've mocked up. This is the same slicer set 3 different ways - each state with it's own corresponding color (except for Texas but you get the idea) when you click on it. Essentially, I'd like the formatting option to exist for each state.

So basically, the first box with the state would have 4 different corresponding colors. When you click on one, the state's cities would populate in the same color and so forth. Can anyone provide help with this? I really appreciate it!
