Mail Merge to Word

For several years I have been successfully merging from excel to word to create a filofax calender for my specific needs:cool:. Now it has stopped working and I'm not sure why?

I have excel columns with dates formated (with custom format)

e.g. 28/8/08 formated to display August-08
and another 28/8/08 formated to the date only e.g. 28

This is the basis of a merge.

However, now on merging it displays the date 28/8/08 instead of the formated August-08 or 28.:mad:

Any ideas why or how to correct it.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
