So I'm collecting web form entries in csv file.

Current row headings - Parent, NoOfChildren, Child1, Child1Details, Child2, Child2Details, Child3, Child3Details

I would like to get a more 'vertical' listing, ie -

Parent1, Child1, Child1Details
Parent1, Child2, Child2Details
Parent1, Child3, Child3Details
Parent2, Child1, Child1Details
Parent2, Child2, Child2Details
Parent3, Child1, Child1Details

I also putz a bit in Access but am unable to contrive a query that does this - so I figure if I can get the Excel sheet list in line, I'm good to go. . . I'll cross-post this in the Access Forum.

This is bit more complicated than just 'transpose!'

Using MS Office 2007

Thanks so much!

RegistrationMom,

In reference to your two links in your reply #6:

You are posting pictures/graphics/PNG files. This means that if this was a problem where one needed to use your data, anyone trying to help you would have to enter the data manually. That makes no sense and I doubt that you would get any answer.

It looks like Micron has a solution for you in your Access thread.

Just an FYI, you did specifically mention taking screenshots and posting them ...

Can you post a screenshot of the actual raw data worksheet?

And, can you post a screenshot of the worksheet results (manually formatted by you) that you are looking for?

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

dreid1011,

Thanks for you input.

In my reply #2 I should have included:

To post a small screen shot (NOT a graphic, or, picture, or PNG file, or, flat text) try one of the following:
