Thank you for reading!

I am working on a project at work and have recently been searching for a macro that would take care of my need however I have been unsuccessful. I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

I need a code that will insert a new column into each file in the particular path and the file name (include file and sheet name) should be inserted into each cell in the column until the last row. After the files are updated with the new column and file name the macro should merge all the files together in one workbook all in one sheet.

This is my first post so please excuse me if I've failed to include required information.
