macro should produce a sound signal on a remote pc

I thought it was simple but couldn't find a solution so far : how can i write some lines in an excel macro to produce a sound signal on another pc in the windows home network ?

you can make sounds from excel, if a workbook is opened as a user action, but I don't know if excel can communicate over a network that way
