Hi All,

I have a workbook that has two worksheets on it.

One sheet has 1982 locations that have 3 rows each (consecutive) on the sheet. The third row of each location has three possible entries - it could be a blank cell, it could have the text value Y, or it could have the text value D.

I need to find each value "D" in that third row and, using the second sheet that has corresponding dollar values for each row heading/column heading intersection where those "D"s were, return the corresponding dollar value from the second sheet onto a third. See example of second sheet in pic below.

Need to eventually add up the dollar values for each location and total them up.

I hope that make sense. This is my first post but you all have been very helpful in the past as I have lurked for answers to my many questions and applied them to my situations. Thank you in advance for any help you might provide.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I should add that in the picture examples, Row headers that I am using are the numbers in the first row, second column - 105, 106, 110, 111, etc. and the cell example of what I would like to look up ("D") is under column heading 282112 in that example. So looking to return value 68 on the second sheet/picture example for location 105, to a third sheet with rows/columns labeled just like the examples.

I hope that helps to make things more clear.
