Looking for some help, it's been a while....

Not sure as it worked for me

So via Windows Explorer you can definitely see Excel files in the U:\New Charges\New Account Sheets\ directory??

Excel Facts

Get help while writing formula
Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
Yes, there is only one file in there at the moment. When I get the error message it looks like the \ is missing in the message but it is in the code as you can see. The only other thing I changed is .xls to .xlsx as that is the file format we have here at my job.

Actually, try adding a backslash to this existing line...

Code:
Set wb = Workbooks.Open(objFolder & objFile.Name)

...so it looks like this and try again:

Code:
Set wb = Workbooks.Open(objFolder & "\" & objFile.Name)

The only other thing I changed is .xls to .xlsx

That will only find Excel files with that extension. If you want all Excel file types (xls, xlsx, xlsb etc) put it back to how it was. Also note that you cannot save Excel files with macros with a ".xlsx" extension as the macro will be lost.
