Lock checkbox to a cell

I made a spreadsheet with 40 rows and 10 columns. Column "A" is a list of peoples names. Columns B:I are check boxes that are assigned true/false values somewhere else in the spreadsheet.. Right now the check boxes are floating boxes. Is there a way to lock a checkbox to an individual cell? When I want to delete persons name or row I want that row of checkbox to move up the same way excel moves up rows. Right now since they float I have to individually redo all the checkbox.

Thanks

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Wow.
You have 40 rows and check boxes in columns B to I on each row.

So that makes. 320 Check boxes if my math is correct

Maybe you would like to tell us what your doing with these check boxes.

I'm sure I could provide a better way to do things.

Show me the code you have assigned to these checkboxes

Is there a way to attach a pdf. I did a screen showing what I have done. Would make more sense if you could see it.

I would prefer if you just show me the script you have in these checkboxes

Not sure about Pdf. And I do not like clicking on links

I would assume all or most of these checkboxes have the same code.

here is the code associated with a checkbox =$K$6
This refers to a true or false value in a cell if the box is checked or not checked. If the boxed is checked it add's to the sum in the final column. IE: B1s value is $51, B2's value is $35, B3 values is $100. The check boxes are in C1-C3. When you click the check box it adds the sum to into C4 using code=SUMIF(K6:R6,TRUE,B5:I5) (the code is a copy from a random cell in my page.) Kinda hard to explain to have this make sense.

If they are ActiveX controls, then right click the checkbox > Format Control > Properties > Move & size with cells.

Correct Move and Size is greyed out. But if Move, Don't Size is selected and a row above the check box is deleted, the check box moves up, as was requested in the OP.

What the OP doesn't mention is what desired result from deleting the row on which the control rests.

Columns B:I of over 40 rows is a lot of checkbox controls of either flavor. Hence my suggestion of Marlett Checkboxes.
