Limit Password attempts

I have a code the requires user to enter a password when prompted, but i like to limit the user from attempting to enter a password to "x" amount of times.

I search the board and was NOT able to find anything. Can you Help.

I think this dialogue and code would benefit all who seek a solution to their own situation; especially the vast amount of threads relating to workbook or worksheet expiration. Any help would be great.

Another thing, once the code is available, it could be reference to all who seek it.
