Hi guys,
I've been using excel for the past year in my current job and have built up a good knowledge of formulas and functions to an intermediate level. I'm really interested to learn more about excel and VBA in particular. I have a degree in business so VBA and coding in general is quite new to me but i feel like its something i would enjoy career wise.
I'm interested in your opinions on how best to learn VBA. I know there's alot of youtube videos ect but I'm wondering if i could get to a good level (eg. somebody who has a computer science degree) by this means alone? or would paying for lessons with a tutor be better?
Also another question (maybe not relevant to this thread) but i'm also wondering how useful a good knowledge of VBA will be in a career in finance? And also what kind of careers learning VBA could open up.
Anyway sorry to ramble, any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks
Alex
