While doing some VBA debugging and performance testing, I have been using the ALT-LPMR to run the first macro which measures the performance of my sheet. Note that developer tab must be enabled.

I like to hold the ALT key down the whole time. If I do this, then my old slow computer beeps. I don't get the beeps on my year-old computer. If I press ALT key and then then press the LPM and then enter, then I get no beeps.

Any idea why this is happening?

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Try doing a search for Sticky Keys on your machine in question. you can set up or turn off sticky keys which if configured will make a sound when two or more keys are pressed at one time. turning on and off used to be CTRL+ALT+DEL one key at a time or hitting Shift 5 times.
