Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
You just can't resist a dangling carrot! ;)
 
ahh and this thread has been hi-jacked or is it jealousy of who has the best way to capture the last row :biggrin:

Oh, I think you're more than capable of starting with "Infinite Improbabilities Drives" and "Excel" and coming up with the first leg of the detour, Emma. ;)
