Is there a Way - Other than Text to Columns

I've got names in a single cell:

A2 = Mr. James M. May

Can I with a series of formulas
split out:

B2 = Mr. ' with a formula in B2
C2 = James ' with a formula in C2
D2 = M. ' with a formula in D2
E2 = May ' with a formula in E2

Text to Columns is surely the Quick-and-Dirty way, but ultimately
requires manual repair for the 3 name components versus the 4 name
components. Wait until you see the formula approach which requires no manual "repair" --- if I can ever figure out how to post the HTML sheet.
