Is there a maximum number of conditional format rules that can be applied?

Hi All,

I need to add more conditional formatting to my spreadsheet. But it seems to belimiting me to 3. Is there a way of increasing it?

Thanks,

Andy

Firstly it is for a shift rota. I have the rota so I can enter a date and it shows me what the shift is working, Days or Nights. It also incorporates Rota'd Days Off which are a set pattern.
Just for ease, days are light blue, nights dark blue, RDO's are clear and weekends are a pattern.
I want it to be an all in one so I can keep track of holidays, days in lieu, sick days and overtime. I have set up another sheet with the rota mapped out for the next 10 years where I can use a range command buttons to change the colour and text of a selected cell denoting this.
Even thought the vlookup brings in the correct data from the cells, it doesn't import the formating.
The staff will only have access to the shift side of the rota so they can see thier own holidays and for other team members to see if there is room for their holidays etc.
I'm sorry if this is all a bit of a mix.If you would prefer to have a look at the file, pm me your email and I'll send it to you.
Thanks again for your help.

Andy
