I need to use some Windows common controls like ListView in VBA UserForms in Excel. Does anybody know, is MSCOMCTL.OCX implementing the ActiveX interface to those common controls included into the installation of Microsoft Office 2016? And is the situation different in Office 365?

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
I am on Office 2016 & Windows 10 today and this file can be found at C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

Are you sure this file was installed with Office 2016? It may have been installed earlier as a part of another installation process (for instance, Visual Basic 6).

I had to install MSCOMCT2.OCX in my SysWOW64 folder (using Office Home 2016, Win10). The process, which I outlined in post #4 here should be the same for MSCOMCTL.OCX.
