Interpreting a circular reference

I have quite a big model that i had to reconstruct partial to include historic data. I rewrote a whole host of measures and have had to disable one of my relationships to progress. However this relationship is critical to it working.

I am completely stumped as to what the error message is trying to tell me. I'm hoping the below links to the message as cant find anyway to attach it

https://www.dropbox.com/s/r4981g99blra5i3/Capture.PNG?dl=0

There seem to be 3 tables involved

Visit Type is a table just containing new or repeat that affect the Posted document header table and also the historic data table (so I can do measure comparing new customers last year with this year). Its the relationship between visit type and Historic data i cant activate

Repair GP and Invoice Type are calculated columns on Posted documents, but neither refer to visit type.

I have 3 other tables like Visit type that have relationships with both the table I want to link so i am mystified why this one is a problem. I realise this is a complete nightmare to unravel, but does the error message give any clue as to where to start?

Any help appreciated as just stuck what to do next!!

Solved it myself

In the Repair GP column i was referencing a measure called [total GP]. Previously this measure was only looking at current year data. I then changed it to be the sum of current year and previous years, but both those inputs were being sliced by the visit type. So I changed the Repair GP column to just reference the this year Total GP and worked.

First thing I check if I get this is that I don't have bi directional filters when I don't need them.
