Interest on Term Deposits as on today

Interests on the deposits are paid every calendar quarter ending on 31^st March, 30^th June, 30^th September and 31^st December. That means, the deposit that was opened on (say) ^18th January 2017 had the 1^st interest paid out on 31^st March for the broken quarter from 18^th Jan to 31^st March and the subsequent payouts had been for full quarters up to 30^th September. So if today is 23^rd October 2017, interest on all the deposits has been paid up to 30^th September 2017. Interest for the period from 1^st October to 23^rd October, although accrued, will be paid out only on 31^st December. Similarly, if a deposit is opened on 16^th June, the 1^st payout would have been on 30^th June, again for a broken period. Now, is there a way to calculate the total interest paid out on each deposit as on today, in the manner stated above, with the help of a standard excel formula? The formula needs to be applicable for various dates of opening the account. My spreadsheet has the following column headings: A1: Date of Opening of deposit B1: Name of Deposit C1: Rate of Interest (%) D1: Amount of Deposit E1: Maturity Date F1: Interest received as on today (TODAY()). The formula shall be applied in cell F2 and will be filled in throughout column F
