good afternoon,

i am struggling to solve my issue & hope some 'code wizard' can solve?

My issue is , if cell a2 > 0, then insert todays date. So i need a formula for that and if I use Now() the date will change all applicable cells the following day . I need the original date to stay etc.

thank you for your help & for your time today.

yes ! where do I add your code?
No, it is already there. I am saying REMOVE those three lines from Block 2 of the existing code.

Well, I hoped you at least learned a few things along the way (other than using Quote and Code tags!);)

Do you mean that you want the timestamp on the "results" sheet to remain when the "Y" is removed from column G on the "testdata" sheet?
If so, then just remove this section from Block 2:
Code:
' Clear date stamp from column B on "results" if column G changed to blank
                Case ""
                    Sheets("results").Cells(cell1.Row, "B").ClearContents

hi Joe4,

hope this finds you well.

so sorry to bother you .
I asked you if you could sort 'on the resultsdata sheet.. is it possible to retain the datestamp when the relevant trigger is removed from testdata sheet? This would be great for the management statistics daily/weekly report.
well for some ?? reason it suddenly does not work. the issue being when i remove the Y and the later have to re-request, it changes the time/date instead of adding another entry . this how i would like it to be IE

ID date time day

2663 26/9/18 21:00 wed

1709 26/9/18 21:02 wed

2663 27/9/18 09:00 thurs

ETC... I checked the code in block 2 to check that the applicable was removed ( as per your instructions above) and I have.

I do hope you can sort this would be fantastic!!!

should it be that your are unable for what ever reason NP and I thank you in advance .
