What I am looking to do is if column AD in "2024 SEP Work Charts" drop box says "Yes" Or "Yes With Problems" the whole row in "2024 SEP Work Charts "B" Shop" turns green.

I am new to the indirect formulas and cannot figure out how to get this to work. Maybe using indirect isn't the answer but it's what I have gathered when using 2 different tabs on google sheets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Below is the link to the document.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Glad to help :)

Make sure to remove my access from your sheet.
For some reason A10 ang going after on the "2024 SEP Work Chart "B" Shop" isn't auto filling column I which is the column you said I could hide.
Any suggestions?

I'm confused. Ask it again. It looks like PD11 is pulling "Yes With Problems" just fine.

I'm not sure what this means "A10 ang going after "

I meant to say that on A10 and after it is not working on the "2024 SEP Work Chart "B" Shop"
I made a copy of the sheet for you to edit and copied the formula that you provided to the original sheet. Everything works as intended until I get to A10 and after.
Once I changed the drop down Column AD on the "2024 SEP work Chart" to "yes" or "Yes With Problems" the A10 and after on the "2024 SEP Work Chart "B" Shop" nothing shows up on column "I" where you put the index and match formula.

I hope this makes sense

I can't edit this sheet "Copy of 2024 SEP Work Chart" to test. Can you open that up?
