Hey everyone,
In Google searches there seem to be a number of solutions but I didn't find anything creative ..
I have a file with an indirect function linked to different files,
When the external file is open everything works perfectly but when the external files are closed (there are more than one external file) the INDIRECT function returns a ref error.
anything can help :)

Omer.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Be sure to make sure all Windows Explorer windows are closed before using xl2bb
A fuller description plus a bit of additional info about a further issue some have encountered in the link I posted.

I don't have any open Explorer file, I restarted and went exactly as directed - nothing helps - 2 squares still :(

Sorry I can't help with that as I haven't known of anyone having that issue without having File explorer open or a range not selected.

Can you upload copies of your files to a free file hosting site like www.box.com or www.dropbox.com, mark them for sharing then post the link it produces in the thread.

Make sure that you have desensitised any sensitive data before uploading.

Thanks for the uploads. I will have a look tomorrow (getting a bit late now here [at least for looking at anything in any great detail]).
