Hello all,
Hoping someone can help with a calculation problem I have been using…
=INDEX('Sheet1'!$H$1:$T$500,MATCH(1,INDEX(($B$6=' Sheet1'!$F:$F)*($C7=' Sheet1'!$G:$G),0,1),0),MATCH(D$6,' Sheet1'!$H$2:$T$2,0))
I run the indexing calculation above which looks across at other worksheets and extracts information I need to give a detailed summary report on another worksheet TAB. The calculation works well however the summary file looks at over 1200 cells and when the calculation runs it’s frustratingly slow when I run it.
My question is this: - Is there a better method of looking at various cells and extracting info rather than the indexing function which is calculating slow?
If yes can anyone help point me in the right direction please?
Thank you in advance.
