Hey all,

Sorry for the very amateur question!

I have never had to use any of the power tools before, so not quite sure where to start. I am trying to use excel to make some reports. My data source is a series of JSON files (24 to be exact), which have been extracted from a source system. I am new to JSONs as a file format, previously working in .xls and .csv files.

I have done some digging and there are lots of recommendations for using power query, power BI etc, but I'm not really sure where to start. I have successfully imported one JSON into excel using my Power Query, but when I try to import multiple, it will error.

Can anybody point me in the right direction for some resources to help me work through the process? Or recommend which of the various tools would be the easiest to start with!

I figure this is a great case study to use to learn some new skills!

Thanks in advance for any guidance,
Jim

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
See if this link helps.
