Importing Data Issues

Hi Guys

I'm trying to import about 200,000 rows of account numbers from an Excel workbook. Below are some examples:

123132
123131
A13131
B28539

Unfortunately, PowerPivot doesn't import any of the cells starting with letters - only the numbers. What can I do?

Possible to re-arrange the data a bit? Power Pivot is trying to "guess" the data type... seeing a bunch of #'s... and guessing wrong. Stick a row with letters at the top.
