Hello, I am getting 2 as an output for the function IFERROR(#NA,-1). Please explain.

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Can you post some data to give an insight into your formula.
Surely the above would result in an error?

Actually the formula in use is something else. It is:
IFERROR(MATCH(1,INDEX(COUNTIF(Tables.BrandNames,Tables!$CA$1:Tables!$CA$100),0,0),0), -1)

After evaluating the formula, the simplified form is :

IFERROR(MATCH(1,{0},0),-1). On further evaluation, I get:

IFERROR(#NA,-1)

which gives 2 as result of final evaluation.
