Hi all,
I have a little problem and hoping you can help me, I have a sheet on the share drive that all guys use as a template for sending work requests, this sheet contains many cells they should fill in before they send it to my department (maintenance) to fix the problem they have, two of the main cells are E5 for the plant number & B15 for description of the work required. currently we have a problem with many guys that they do not fill in the plant name cell before sending it so we got headache while trying to find out which plant is the correct one.
My request is, is there any formula or macro I can use to force them filling in the plant name cell IF the work description cell is already filled in ??
Sorry for bad English & too much writing

Sorry, cannot replicate this problem.

I opened a blank Excel file, copied and pasted the code in the ThisWorkbook module.

Entered a value in B15 and then tried to close. Received the message, "Enter plant name first".

Entered a value in E5, workbook closed fine.

Opened the workbook again, deleted value from E5 and saved. Entered something in E5 and then immediately removed value from E5, upon close, received the message, "Enter plant name first".

Just confirm you have the right sheet name and ranges referenced in the code, but other than that, not sure why it is not working correctly for you.

You might have to give it some more testing in your environment, because as I said, in my environment it works well.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Good Morning

I would like to Piggyback here if that is ok. I have the same issue, I submit timecards for about 15 employees. my issue seems to be that i do not get them with the correct information

my Range (merged cells) I10:l10 (then down to I19:L19) if this Cell contains LM i need S10:X10 to have a value. (then copied down to S19:X19) .

Is this possible?
