if function - logical test = date range ?

I would like a certain value to appear if the date in a particular column falls within a time period.

What would a formula for that look like?

This itemizes receipts for a court case. The dates will never change but thanks for the tip. If I have other similar formulas to add, I could do it that way and save some time.
