How do I check an array. meaning if A1 = b1, b2, or b3 then do X if not do y, as oposed to doing =if(or(a1=b1, a1=b2,a1=b3...)

You should have told us what "do x" and "do y" are.

Here's another one...

=IF(COUNTIF(B1:B3,A1),"do x","do y")
