Hi Guys,

I need to write a formula for a spreadsheet at work and Im hoping someone will be able to help me!! Basically I need to write a formula so if the content in column b matches the content in column m then the two figures in e and f are divided and if that's greater than the figure in column n it shows passed in column h, sounds very long winded the problem I'm having is the value in column n is a pass mark for a test so when there are more than one mark and if it helps the two columns of data I'm comparing ( b and m) are the test so if the test name in column b match's one of the test in column m then the pass the score (which is e divided by f) is compared with the pass mark in column n and if their score is greater it shows passed in column h or failed if their score is lower.

Is that possible? Please help sorry it may be confusing!

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Can you provide examples ?
Yeah sure, in column b I have the test title in column e I have the learners score and column f I have the maximum score for that test and in column h I have if the learner passed or failed ( in the format of their test percentage that has formatting so it will go green if its a pass and red if its a fail) In column m I have added the the qualification again and in n is the pass mark for that test ( I don't know if I needed to do that) but I need a formula that will look at the qualification in column b match it to the right pass mark in column n and then compare the learners score with that pass mark to show if they passed or failed in column h.
Does that help ? If not please give me an idea of what info you need from me!

Thanks
