Right now I cannot figure out how to form my internet searches, so I will start with asking and still try to find what I need.

Scenario: I am exporting data from Nessus Security Center and need to identify any cells that include a result that is not in a reference list, but there is a hitch. The comparison will be a list pulled, from between irrelevant text, against the established reference list.

Example export cell:

-=GIBBERISH=- returned :

Item1
Item2
Item3
Item9

Policy -=GIBBERISH=-

Example Reference List:

Item1
Item2
Item3
Item4
Item5
Item6

I need to identify "Item9" in the Example export cell, as found between returned : and Policy (these are always in front and end of the exported list); the reference list may be longer than what is in the exported.

Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
Well, I forgot to mention that I am working in Excel 2016 for this exercise.
