Hi folks,

I added a number of buttons to my ribbon bar but can't recall the name of one of the attached macros. On a regular form button, you can just right click to Assign Macro and the current one is shown. However, the button bar does not allow this approach. Any ideas how I can identify the currently attached macro?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
If you go into "Customise Ribbon" & expand the section with your buttons, then you can just hover the cursor of the button & it will tell you the name of the macro.

if you added a macro to the ribbon bar the name should appear as the macro name
Not if you've renamed it ;)
Also the tooltip for the QAT will show the name of the button, not necessarily the name of the macro
