I don't see a way to cancel a post that I changed my mind on

Aha! I would never have looked there. Thanks.
You probably should have, given this & the subsequent couple of posts. ;)

Seems to me like it ought to clear the screen, too. I said "delete". I didn't say "delete unless I don't delete again within 60 seconds".
I disagree. Lets suppose I am drafting a post. At some stage during that process a draft may have saved but I don't know when.
I realise that what I have typed is not right so I manually delete what is in the compose window and start typing quite a bit of the correct post. If I then think about the saved draft and delete it and it also deleted my new (correct) typing, I would be annoyed.

To me it is quite correct that the saved draft is deleted, not the contents of the current typing window.

Ok, but the current options are confusing and misleading. If I click on the little diskette (odd icon IMO), I see two options: Save Draft and Delete Draft. I think a normal person would assume that the term "draft" applied to the same chunk of text -- namely, the one I am working on now. It is illogical for Save to apply to this draft and Delete to apply to some other one.

I suggest that the Draft icon refer onyl to saved drafts and lists them. Them we need another trash can icon to delete the one I am working on.

Final words on the second subject posted about the editor features in this discussion: This is not a feature that is open to any suggestion as it is a third party commercial editor embedded to the software. Personally I like how it works, but even I didn’t, I had to live with it.
