Hello,

I have created a hyperlink on my spreadsheet with CONCATENATE, and it opens the file from my server just fine. It resides in G4. In H4, however, I would like to have a formula that pulls a value from that hyperlink in G4. I have this formula: ='[G4]2-4-16'!$I$4, but Excel still makes me specify the file (via "Update Values") to pull the value from. Is it possible to have this value pull automatically without having to specify the file, and using the cell reference between the brackets [ ] (rather than the full file name)? Please let me know if I can clarify further.

Thanks,

Mike

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
