HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or library

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

OK...
So I tried to do your suggestion..

But what happens is that when I "re-Open" Excel..
and click the "Add-Inn" for Html maker...it then gives me there Error..

when I hit OK...I get the exact screen that you have listed above...but I am not in the VBE?

So how can I save it?

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

Hello,

You're looking at the same Library Reference Window that I posted earlier in this thread and you're not in the Visual Basic Editor (VBE)? Where are you then?

Let's pretend you are in the VBE. Uncheck the reference, hit OK and then save as I described. Sound reasonable?

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

Here is where I am at...

When I check the "Add-in" box from the tool menu...
and check the html maker bix...

I get an error when I click OK I get the following

now...When I remove the Outlook reference I can use the html maker however, when I restart excel I have to do the whole procedure again

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

Hmmm, I see. Don't access that Window as such.

Pretend time is over, now we're really going to do it. In Excel, hit Alt-f11 to open the VBE, now open the References Window by clicking Tools -> References, and now follow the steps I mentioned. Sorry about the confusion. :)

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

Here is what I get....see below

The only way I can get the Outlook reference to appear is to "Un-Check"
the "add-in" box and re-open and recheck the "add-in" box as listed above...

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

Sorry, make sure you have the correct project selected before attempting this, e.g.,

CorrectProject.jpg

You have Book1 selected in your last attempt.

Thank you!!

You are welcome.

Re: HTMLMaker error: Compile Error Can't find project or lib

Hi Nate,

I was also getting a problem every time I wanted to use HTML Maker to the extent that it became a habit before posting a snap shot to have to press Alt F11 > Tools > References and uncheck the MISSING reference to Outlook. After reading your post above, the last time I did that I also "saved" HTML Maker and now the MISSING reference no longer appears when I re-open Excel - so very many thanks. :beerchug:
