VBA Code Cleaner

Hi! I just can't seem to figure out how to use the Code Cleaner, after installing it I can't find any option to use it :S

I'm using Excel 2013 and W8 (if that's relevant).

Thanks!

------------

Also, if someone knows, why does importing and exporting the code reduces the size? What kind of "junk" is stored and why? and when?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
The AppsPro one, and I do looked there since the help file says so, but no option there :S

It that the same you use? If not? Which one you use?

Thanks!

Yes, I use the AppsPro cleaner. You may not have activated it. Go to File>Options>AddIns and on the Manage Addins drop down near the bottom choose COM Add-ins and click Go. Be sure the Code Cleaner box is checked.

Already did that, but there is no "Code Cleaner" option in the COM Add-ins... I even tried the "add" button and selecting the CodeCleaner dll, but it doesn't add it.

Any ideas...?

(I installed the code cleaner in a virtual machine that I have with Windows XP and Office 2003, and the option appears in VBE-Tools, as it should); maybe it's an issue with my windows (8) or my office (2013); may I know which ones are you using?

Thanks!

I've used it on XP, Vista and Windows 7 with success. Haven't used Windows 8. Maybe try uninstall/reinstall.

Are you using 32bit or 64bit Office?

Already did that (both).

32bit.

Just tried in another VM that I have, and it works in W7 and Office 2010...

I'll setup a couple of VM's W8-Office 2010 and W7-Office 2013; and see wich one is the guilty: W8 or Office 2013... or both...

W8-Office 2010: Working.
W7-Office 2013: Not working.

So it seems that it's incompatible with Office 2013 :( In case someone cares.
