How to round to nearest half dollar?

I am trying to figure ou how to round my numbers to the nearest half dollar? The ROUND function doesnt seem to work for me, it only does nearest dollars..
ex)
56,498.56 I want it to say 56,499.00

And if it’s 48,567.37 I want it to round up to 48,567.50

Or you could use mround(a1,.5) which will round up to the nearest multiple of .5

I have made that suggestion already. However, like I have (also already) noted, the OP needs to decide if s/he wants roundup or round to nearest.
