how to post screen shot IMAGE in forum

... one has to make changes while using Colo's HTML Maker & composing a post to be posted in a thread. I guess you are not aware of the same.
That's right, since I switched to using Excel jeanie I have not tried to keep up-to-date with all the issues related to Colo's.

Also, right now I am in office (with restricted access), but I would most prolly post the link of Colo's HTML Maker download link on this thread as soon as I reach home

Have a nice day !
Such a link may be useful for other users. I have no underlying problem with Colo's HTML Maker, having used it for a number of years myself before deciding that Excel jeanie was better for my purposes. It is just a pity that quite a few people clearly aren't able to use it without messing up their posts.

For the record so far Richard's HTML maker seems to be a winner in terms of making it easy to post Excel data. IMHO.

I for one can't wait until it goes live so I can start telling people to use it. Sooo much easier to get some data to play with.

I must admit that I haven't tried it but have seen many posts using it. I'm not arguing against it, but what advantages does it have over Excel jeanie?

Easier than what?

That should be "easier than trying to figure it out from screen shots or garbled explanations from people if they can easily and quickly be pointed towards a html maker" ;)
Admittedly it still relies on people actually using said tools. Always a problem.

As to advantages, I must admit that I started using the Excel Jeanie then saw Richards html maker, tried it out for no particular reason, and haven't looked back since.

IMO the "select cells, right click, generate, paste into messageboards" makes all the difference. Jeanie had that window pop-up I never really got the hang of. Also I seem to recall having an easier time installing Richard's than the Jeanie.

So I'm gonna go with "ease of use".
There's just something about it that seems more "light weight" than Jeanie was. Might just be the absence of that pop-up window.
