I am not sure how to make an excel chart to figure out lottery odds,
unless someone is able to just calculate the probability.

I am looking for an excel chart to figure out the odds of the Florida
Fantasy 5 Lotto in Florida.

The Lotto has 5 numbers ranging from 1 to 36. My strategy is to
always pick numbers 1, 7, and 22 for certain.

Then for the other 2 remaining number picks, I will always be picking 1 odd
and 1 even number. And at that point there would be 33 numbers left.

So, how would I make an excel chart to figure out the probability
of me guessing JUST the last two numbers in the correct order?

For example, if the winning numbers really were 1, 7, 22, 27 and 32
that MIGHT be a combination that I might have picked because
1, 7 and 22 were the first three numbers I always pick and the
last 2 numbers consisted of 1 odd and 1 even number and did
NOT go over the number 36.

So, how would I know the odds of me picking the
numbers 27 and 32 correctly under the assumption
that 1, 7, and 22 hit?

Winning numbers could be a big variety for 1 more odd and 1 more even...
For example, they could be...

1, 7, 22, 3, 6
1, 7, 22, 35, 2
1, 7, 22, 23, 36

etc....

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

Been a long time using probabilities, might be totally off :)

Given permutation(36,5) is 45mil, your chance of winning with any number would be 1/45mil.
If 1-7-22 was drawn, your chance of winning would be 1/permutation(33,2) = 1/1056 for the remaining 2 numbers.
If 1-7-22 was drawn and 4th would be odd and 5th even (and you played odd/even respectively), then 1/(P(16,1) * P(17,1)) = 1/272

Playing the same numbers over and over won't change anything.

It's not clear what probabilities you're asking for. Or what you mean by picking numbers in the correct order?

The chances of the winning numbers including any particular triple, e.g. 1, 7 and 22, are around 0.14%, i.e COMBIN(33,2) / COMBIN(36,5).

If the winning numbers include 1, 7 and 22, there are 528 possibilities for the other two numbers, i.e. COMBIN(33,2). Just over half of these will be ODD/EVEN combinations - COMBIN(17,2) or 136 will be EVEN/EVEN and COMBIN(16,2) or 120 will be ODD/ODD.

Makes sense well I guess the way I should have phrased the question is... if numbers
1,7,22 are picked what are the odds that I guess the other 2 numbers REGARDLESS
if they are even or odd?

There are 36 total numbers, so if 3 are picked, there would be 33 numbers left.
