Excel Facts

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Several of us have provided answers: And you never answered my question

To get current year you use: Year(Date)

Anytime you use Date You get todays date you do not need to use Now

You can add a function rather than sub:

Code:
Function CurrentYear() As Long
    CurrentYear = Year(Now)
End Function

then just use CurrentYear wherever you need the year.

Function has to be placed in a standard module.
So, in the VBA toolbar>> Insert>>Module
