How to create table with only duplicate records

Hi there

I have a table with a list of items and I am tryign to create a query that creates a table that only takes all the records that are the same and puts them in the table?? can someone help thanks

Try the "Find Duplicates Query Wizard" built into Access.

Basic syntax is as below using Count to find multiple duplicate entries.

SELECT First([task_name]) AS [task_name Field], Count([task_name]) AS NumberOfDups
FROM tblTask
GROUP BY [task_name]
HAVING Count([task_name])>1;
